Luiza's introduction to photography came as a teenager when using 35mm film was the norm and the darkroom was the incubator for creativity to emerge.

Since then, her passion and curiosity for photography has grown into not just shooting an image but also in discovering the hidden art in each composition - the telling of a story, each unique and complex, yet simple and beautiful at the same time.

The true art in capturing images not only intrigues the visual sense, but also challenges the mind to experience the moment and to recreate the memory...the family gathering...a child's laughter...the salty air...the cool breeze...the tender touch.

Luiza is fortunate to be married to a generous and loving man and together they are raising two beautiful children. It is their love and support that encourages Luiza to share the art of photography with others and to help others capture their special moments in life.
